About la pausa designs
Inspired by the Danish Concept of "hygge" and moved by a passion for making and sharing garments and homeware with loved ones, an old -time hobby became La Pausa Designs.
La Pausa means "the pause" in Spanish and it is an invitation to unwind and make time to relax with our textiles.
Sip your morning coffee wrapped up in one of our ruanas or cozy up with a merino wool blanket while reading a book by a fireplace
Each of our textiles is a unique creation.
We work mostly on commission though we do carry some pieces ready to be purchased.
If you like a textile that is not currently available or if you want it customized, please contact us and we will happily craft it for you!
about The artist
She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and she grew up loving crafts, design and the Patagonia.
Later in life she moved to Northern California and she fell in love with the Pacific Coast hues, sounds and wild nature.
All these beautiful places are her source of inspiration for the designs: neutral colors, earthy tones, simple patterns, peaceful vibes, lots of white...
